Precision, borosilicate glass carriers/inserts for use with X-Prep® fixtures come in a variety of sizes.

X-Lube is a solvent-free lubricant used for cutting, grinding and polishing applications. It is used to submerge samples while cutting/grinding to avoid overheating, or added in small quantities with diamond compound for polishing applications. Specially formulated to minimize splashing.

Polishing mounts are used with grinding and/or polishing discs for preparation of areas greater than 25 square mm. They are made of a special grade of hardened steel for rigidity and precision ground to eliminate vibration at high speeds.

Punches feature a durable, razor sharp, medical grade stainless steel tip used to extract polishing discs.

The leveling probe consists of a collet adapter and ruby (ball) tip (1 mm) stylus. The stylus can be threaded out of the adapter and replaced as needed. Slide a tool into the cross-hole to loosen and/or tighten the stylus into the collet adapter.
