Discovery V8/V12/V20

The Discovery stereo microscopes are designed for ergonomic and simplified operation, and provide increased depth of field through newly designed optics, improving color reproduction and contrast for unequalled resolution. Three different microscope bodies are available: V8 (manual zoom, 1-8x), V12 (motorized zoom/encoded, 0.8-10x) and V20 (motorized zoom/encoded, 0.75-15x) all highly configurable and modular in design.
	The Discovery V8 features an 8:1 zoom range with selectable click-stops for discrete magnification steps the enable calibration of pixel sizes in the imaging software ZEN. This highly configurable system can be tailored for many uses. 	The Discovery V12 features a motorized zoom system with 12:1 zoom ratio. Encoded capability provides resolution, magnification and object field data in the imaging software ZEN. An optional Human Interface Panel (HIP) programmable entry of eyepiece and objective magnification, zoom speed, focus speed, position and displays resolution, field of view and magnification values are all possible. Add a 3-position turret to extend the zoom ratio to 30:1 by adding 0.63X to 1.5X objectives. With the optional System Control Panel (SyCoP), control of the microscope is possible that provides a similar feel of a computer mouse with touch screen control and programming of the system. Foot pedals can also be added to control focus and zoom when two hands are needed to hold and secure a sample while viewing.
	The Discovery V20 features a motorized zoom system with 20:1 zoom ratio. Encoded capability provides resolution, magnification and object field data in the imaging software ZEN. An optional Human Interface Panel (HIP) programmable entry of eyepiece and objective magnification, zoom speed, focus speed, position and displays resolution, field of view and magnification values are all possible. Add a 3-position turret to extend the zoom ratio to 150:1 by adding 2.25 to 345x objectives. With the optional System Control Panel (SyCoP), control of the microscope is possible that provides a similar feel of a computer mouse with touch screen control and programming of the system. Foot pedals can also be added to control focus and zoom when two hands are needed to hold and secure a sample while viewing.
