Allied offers a wide spectrum of grinding/polishing machines for preparation of mounted or unmounted metallurgical samples, microeletronic devices, optical components, petrographic samples, PCB microsections and much more.
Manual grinder/polishers are the most economical solution for labs looking to prepare one (1) to fifty (50) samples per week.
For precision applications, the MultiPrep™ system offers unique capabilities for small sample sizes where quantitative removal and sample control is necessary. The OptiPrep™ is uniquely designed for production polishing of optical components.
For semi-automatic grinding/polishing of mounted samples, several models are available to meet sample size, volume (for production) output from small to high output. These models feature pneumatic powerheads that provide sample movement and application of force and are easily programmed for consistency and repeatability.
Specialty tools are accessories and/or tools with specific purposes and/or applications.
For PCB microsectioning, Allied offers a speciality sample preparation solution, including pin insertion for indexing coupons , mold cups and a 6-position sample holder with indexing stops for precision material removal.
