Hardness Testing

A complete line of indenters are available for all Mitutoyo™ hardness testers, including vickers, knoop, vickers/knoop, rockwell and brinell scales.

Diamond indenters feature DAkkS calibration certificates according to the appropriate/relevant DIN/EN/ISO and ASTM standards. 

Rockwell and Brinell ball holders are made by Mitutoyo™, and are supplied without calibration certificate for the included ball. Please order a ball with DAkkS calibration certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6506-2 and ASTM E10 separately. Function tests for ball holders are available on request.

Test blocks are used to verify calibration accuracy.
