Inverted microscopes are engineered for bottom-up viewing of a sample, ideal for metallographic applications that primarily are viewing a mounted/encapsulated sample.
The AxioObserver is a research-grade metallograph designed for the examination of mounted samples. Contrasting methods for reflected light include brightfield, darkfield, circular DIC, polarization and fluorescence.
The Axiovert 5 and Axiovert 7 are both industrial grade microscopes. The Axiovert 5 is a manual microscope with coded components and can work as a stand-alone system (without a PC). The Axiovert 7 is a motorized microscope with coded components and motorized focus drive.
