A complete line of indenters are available for all Mitutoyo™ hardness testers, including vickers, knoop, vickers/knoop, rockwell and brinell scales.

Diamond indenters feature DAkkS calibration certificates according to the appropriate/relevant DIN/EN/ISO and ASTM standards. 

Rockwell and Brinell ball holders are made by Mitutoyo™, and are supplied without calibration certificate for the included ball. Please order a ball with DAkkS calibration certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6506-2 and ASTM E10 separately.

The HR-600 Series combines the functionality of several previous models: Rockwell hardness testing, Brinell hardness testing, Brinell and Vickers depth measurement hardness testing, and hardness testing of plastic materials. Supporting all test types in a single machine, this new series expands the range of available measurements.

With its high-resolution scale load cell developed uniquely by Mitutoyo that allows for high-precision test load feedback control and state-of-the-art design that delivers both aesthetics and usability on the ground, the new HR-600 Series enables hardness testing that defies conventional thinking.

New design with one functional beauty, with a table for mounting workpieces and head with vertical mobility, the HR-600 Series is built for operability and usability. Its new design is highly focused on end-user usability, and the entire product structure has been inventively modified for functional beauty- a true embodiment of Mitutoyo's pioneering spirit.

The mid-range HR-320MS is selectable for both Rockwell and Rockwell/ Superficial scales. The HR-320MS features a high contrast LCD digital display, conversions for all common scales, and a motor driven loading sequence.

The HR-430 Series is available in Rockwell-only or Rockwell/Superficial Twin Tester models. HR-430 models feature an automatic brake-and-start feature to prevent overloads during the minor load cycle and to initiate testing when the proper load is achieved. HR-430 testers also include the convenient dial-a-weight major load selection system. 

All HR Series hardness testers can perform Brinell hardness tests when equipped with available optional accessories: a Brinell indenter, weight set and measurement microscope.  

HR Series Rockwell hardness testing machines support Measurlink®, Mitutoyo proprietary statistical processing and process control software. Measurlink® performs measurement data analysis and provides real-time display of measurement results for SPC Software and other management routines. The program also provides archiving and can be linked to a higher-level network environment for enterprise-wide functionality.
