POLISHING
Abrasives include suspensions/slurries, compound (paste), and powders. Suspensions/Slurries are liquid-based abrasives that are formulated for automatic dispensing and are available in several mineral types. Compound or paste has unique uses and is manually dispensed from the syringe. Powders are mixed with preferred carriers for manual dispensing.

Lapping Film Accessories
Rubber squeegees are used to secure/apply lapping films onto a platen.
The Diamond Lapping Film Storage Book helps to protect lapping film from exposure to debris following use and has tabbed pages to identify each micron size with a color chart on the front cover.
Available for 8" and 10-12" discs.
Abrasives
Alumina - Made with 99.9% pure aluminum oxide, these high-purity abrasives are available in powder, suspension and colloidal formulations.
Diamond - Available in either poly or monocrystalline, this premium grade diamond abrasive is available in several carrier options, alcohol, compound, glycol, water; all being water-soluble.
Silica - Available in various particle sizes and formulations, these products are used primarily for final polishing applications to achieve ultra smooth surface finish with minimal material removal rate.

Lubricants
Lubricants enhance the polishing performance of diamond suspensions, compounds, and lapping films to by reducing friction, helping to increase and extend product efficiency.
They are used in conjunction with compound, suspension(s), slurries and as an alternative to water on lapping films. They reduce friction and extend the life of the cloth and abrasive by keeping the surface wet and cooled.
All 16 and 32 oz. bottles are supplied with both a trigger sprayer and flip-top for manual dispensing. Gallon containers are supplied with an empty, prelabeled 16 oz. empty bottle for convenience.

Cloths
A wide range of polishing cloths is offered for fine grinding or for coarse, intermediate and final polishing of all materials.
Adhesive-back cloths attach to standard platens, while flexible or rigid discs with ferromagnetic backing secure to magnetic platens.
